Power and Associates gave the 2009 Impala 4 out of 5 Power Circles for Overall Initial Quality Design. Substantially redesigned three years before, this Impala LT received a cleaner, more sophisticated exterior, a badly needed interior upgrade, a new 211hp 3.5L V6 that gave the LT an additional 31hp over the previous generation base engine, plus great features like dual-zone A/C, anti-lock brakes, traction-control, etc...even a remote starter! New Car Test Drive called it "...very stable on the open road, a nice cruiser..."
